12 DAYS TRAINING DURING AUGUST 18-29, 2025
Proposed Agenda[1]
“Education is one of the cornerstones of the Finnish welfare society. We pride ourselves on an educational system that offers equal opportunities for education for all. Education from pre-primary to higher education is free of charge in Finland. Finnish teachers are highly educated and strongly committed to their work.” Together with Finnish trainers, you are welcome to get acquainted with the Finnish education system, teacher education and principal education, as well as the key aspects that have led Finland to achieve the globally recognized educational success in PISA, PIRLS and TIMSS. The program mainly consists of getting acquainted with daily educational practice, lectures opening the Finnish education system, visits to various training centers and schools, universities, organizations and practical pedagogical workshops. During the visits, it is possible to talk to Finnish educators, principals and teachers and ask about their teaching practices, methods or the challenges they face in their daily work.
Finland, the happiest country in the world, and education create the basis for this growth. JOENSUU is located in the middle of pure nature, surrounded by lakes and forests. Our school system cannot be learned and understood by reading or hearing stories, you have to come to experience it for yourself! ...
